The Centre d’action bénévole aux 4 vents serves the municipalities of Waterloo, Warden, Shefford and Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford.
OUR SERVICES
This service is for autonomous or semi-autonomous individuals who are unable to drive themselves to medical appointments. A volunteer driver accompanies and supports you throughout the appointment.
Safe support for the person during mobility, excluding trips requiring the volunteer’s vehicle.
Are daily outings becoming difficult? A volunteer can accompany you to the bank, pharmacy, grocery store, or other essential errands.
Meals on Wheels provides complete meals prepared on our premises and delivered by dedicated volunteers.
Deliveries take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Each meal includes soup or salad, main course and dessert.
This service provides peace of mind through the loan of an emergency call device that ensures 24-hour protection.
Feeling isolated or in need of social contact? This service offers friendly visits or phone calls from a volunteer for conversation and companionship.
Time to move and have fun! Join a friendly group for line dancing. Simply go to the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 77 Lewis Street East, Waterloo.
Tuesdays, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This free, confidential, and personalized service helps individuals who need support with government forms and procedures.
Offered free of charge every year in March and April, this service is provided by trained volunteers who assist participants throughout the tax-filing process.
In partnership with Centraide Richelieu–Yamaska, this program provides financial assistance to low-income families during the back-to-school period.
It helps children integrate successfully into school and start the year on a positive note.
The food assistance service is intended for individuals and families experiencing a temporary difficult situation, such as job loss, a delay in income (Employment Insurance, CNESST, etc.), separation, illness, or any other situation of financial insecurity.
Each request is evaluated through a meeting to assess needs and, when appropriate, referrals to other community resources are provided.
The community fridge aims to reduce food insecurity and food waste. The service is offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
Our community grocery store is open every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The goal of the store is to increase physical and economic access to fresh and nutritious food, promote food autonomy through educational activities, and provide a welcoming space for social connection.
The Centre offers temporary loans of orthopedic equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and crutches for up to three months.
A refundable deposit may be required, depending on the equipment.
The Centre offers access to a welcoming community laundromat, Le Mouscafin, fully equipped with washers, dryers, a coffee area, and an Internet station.

Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
